STRUCTURE AND CONTENT

MODULE 1

4 weeks

A Nordic approach to modularization, mainly based on Danish academia. Modules 1 explores:

  • Modular architectures

  • Modular product programs

  • Modular product configuration

MODULE 2

5 weeks

American approaches to modularization, based on a selection of industry cases. Module 2 explores:

  • Modular product design

  • Modular product platforms

  • Modularization as competititive advantage

MODULE 3

5 weeks

Mainly German approaches to modularization, based on knowhow from NEM + partners. Modules 3 explores:

  • Modular tools, models, and strategies

  • Modularization and circular economy

  • Modularization in the automotive industry

ABOUT

  • Participants get insight into various aspects of and approaches to modularization from international experts in the field.
  • Companies can develop a common understanding of modularization and learn from other companies’ experiences.
  • The program is an opportunity to both learn from the best and engage with fellow modularization enthusiasts. 
  • The program consists of three modules with one weekly course day.
  • Each course day has an afternoon and an evening session of 2,5 hours each.
  • The sessions include presentations, group assignments, and discussions.
  • Participation is 100% virtual – we use MS Teams.
